Highlights of the first three weeks: Mostafa Kamal Mosaad

There are many things I’ve enjoyed in the Programme so far. The possibility to see artefacts in all the British Museum galleries, particularly the diversity of display methods in the Egypt and Sudan galleries, including Coptic Egypt.

The laboratories for repairing and conserving objects, and the scientific equipment used. Many British Museum staff have been very cooperative, explaining their work in an easy and clear way. The library of the Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan is a rich resource for reference, both in terms of books and online access.

I’ve also enjoyed visits outside the British Museum, including London sites. I look forward to many different and wonderful things in the coming days .
